Pietro Truba is a highly creative, innovative, organized artistic collaborator. For the past 15 years Pietro Truba has taken an objective and journalistic approach to working with a rotating team of artists to curate, research, produce, showcase and reconcile accounts payable for nearly 4,000 individual limited edition artist releases including prints, original artwork collections, curated theme collections, art objects, sales campaigns, fulfillment and more.

Co-founded, designed the concept and led Moonlight Arts Collective (MAC) from the inception to launch and beyond. MAC collaborated with well known musicians, actors and more artists, who “moonlight” as visual artists in addition to their well known profession, to produce hundreds of limited edition product releases and original artwork exhibitions online and in person.
Developed company name, mission statement, branding, ethos, budgeting/revenue targeting, business planning and investment strategy documents for both investors and artists pitches
Lead Artist Relations - worked closely to curate hundreds of releases from dozens of artists to develop unique plans, and manage teams to complete a directives for each release
Created and maintained the company's new website, trained remote production managers to help develop the site further and increase company bandwidth. Trained and oversaw new staff to take over maintenance and updates.
Email & Social Media Marketing - Created, developed and maintained weekly email newsletter, day of release launch emails and daily social media channels. Trained and oversaw new staff to take over growth, strategy, maintenance and updates.
Shipping & Customer Service Dept + Training - Develop, train and then oversaw remote and in person shipping and customer service teams
Developed and executed all social media strategy for year one and beyond, while working toward planned growth and increased staffing for pass off strategy in year two and beyond.
Document and analyze data and sales figures with COO to course correct and improve with monthly sales and companies internal goals and metrics.

Collaborated with artists to produce over 4,000 limited edition product releases, resulting in annual sales that increased from under $1 million in 2013, to over $2 million in 2019, and nearly $3 million in 6 months in 2020, guiding the company to sustainable profitability. Curated dozens of group releases annually in addition to daily releases uninterrupted for 3 years.
Developed and exceeded annual company-wide sales goals to meet monthly benchmarks and increase cash flow
Created curated artist collections to expand the company roster, including individualized artist plans and group shows
Sourced and collaborated with a diverse group of international vendors to produce a wide range of art prints, books, hand-painted multiples, fine art objects, unique original artwork exhibitions, social media content, and more.
Supported artist production with creative, logistical, financial and technical guidance, from ideation to completion.
Produced individually-catered projects to build upon artists’ existing catalog, including promotional media.
Engineered a custom project management system integrated with the company’s backend inventory system.
Created complimentary guidelines and standard operating procedures to expand the team, including training protocols for new employees onboarding for curatorial, prototyping, pricing, shipping, authenticating and inventorying products for e-Commerce.
Managed scheduling, budget, timelines and contracts for each artist’s project, including the development of benchmarks for each release, production and dissemination of social media assets, interviews and additional promotional content, coordinating and organizing assets from artists, as well as photographers, videographers and writers working both internally and externally.
Organization and editing of all assets posted to social media channels and company news sections; managing communications and project management software including Asana, Google Docs and Dropbox.

Worked to curate, present and sell site specific themed limited edition exhibitions in various locations around the world, throughout the United States including Honolulu, Los Angeles, Austin, Detroit and Miami as well as Taipei, Taiwan and Ostend, Belgium.
Worked with each partner to create a site-specific pop-up exhibition complete with individually curated artists to bring one-of-a-kind events to life both in person and online.
Organized and facilitated additional impromptu in person events including meet and greets, photoshoots, interviews, on site installations and communications between multiple parties to add additional weight to each project with tight deadlines.

Moonlight Arts Collective @ The Other Art Fair - Los Angeles, California - Co-curated, executed and set up both an online exhibition as well as in person exhibition featuring two galleries, including The Other Art Fair guest artist Melissa Villaseñor’s gallery which featured over 50+ pieces of original artwork along with 12 print editions, as well as a Moonlight Arts Collective gallery featuring prints, original artwork and more from Brandon Boyd, Jose Pasillas, Aric Improta, Brian Bowen Smith, Jen Rosenstein and Sarah Rose Hyland. Guided videographers and photographers for documentation, as well as coordinated with onsite teams for set up, breakdown and shipping of the entire show.
